Lawn tennis is one of the games offered at King’s College, Budo, providing students with an opportunity to develop their sporting talent while building discipline, concentration, agility and confidence. Through regular training and competitive matches, students learn essential skills such as serving, rallying, footwork, shot placement and strategic thinking. The game also promotes fitness, perseverance, sportsmanship and respect for opponents.
King’s College, Budo participates in inter-school and national competitions in lawn tennis, giving talented players opportunities to represent the College and compete at higher levels. In the 2025 National Secondary School competitions in Bukedea, Budo’s lawn tennis team finished 7th out of 9 schools, demonstrating the College’s continued participation in the sport. The game forms part of Budo’s broad co-curricular programme, supporting the school’s commitment to developing well-rounded students through teamwork, discipline and excellence.
