King’s College Budo successfully hosted a Patriotism Training Programme aimed at nurturing responsible, disciplined and committed young citizens. The training provided students with an opportunity to learn about the importance of loving their country, respecting national values and symbols, promoting unity, and understanding their role in the development and protection of Uganda.
The programme greatly benefited the students by strengthening their discipline, leadership skills, confidence, teamwork and sense of responsibility. It encouraged them to appreciate their identity and understand that they have an important role to play as future leaders and citizens of the country.
For the school, the training reinforced the values of discipline, unity, service and responsible leadership among students, contributing to a positive learning environment. For the country, it helped prepare a generation of young people who are patriotic, hardworking and committed to peace, national unity and development.
Through such programmes, King’s College Budo continues to play an important role in shaping well-rounded students who are prepared not only for academic success but also for responsible service to their school, community and country.
