About This Program
The Advanced Level Arts program offers a two-year course (Senior 5-6) for students interested in humanities, social sciences, law, journalism, and related fields. Students select from combinations such as History, Economics, and Geography (HEG); History, Economics, and Literature (HEL); or History, Economics, and Divinity (HED). The program develops critical thinking, analytical writing, and research skills through in-depth study of human society, culture, and civilization. Students also study subsidiary subjects including General Paper and ICT. The program prepares students for the UACE examinations and university education in arts and humanities disciplines.
