A Message from the Headmaster

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to the official website of King's College Budo. Our school is a historic institution, founded in 1906, and remains a beacon of excellence, shaping ethical and influential leaders for Uganda and the world.

Our work here is constantly guided by the enduring principle of our motto: "Gakyali Mabaga"—So little done, so much more to do. This is more than a phrase; it is a commitment to continuous effort, reminding every Budonian, student and teacher alike, that our greatest achievements lie ahead.

Building on a Foundation of Faith and Excellence

At Budo, we are dedicated to a holistic education rooted firmly in Christian values. We believe that true success is measured not only by academic achievement but by the strength of one's Character and Integrity.

As Headmaster, my personal vision is drawn from the scripture: "Carefully build[ing] on the foundation" (1 Corinthians 3:10). This means we are focused on two critical areas:

1. Academic Modernization: We are investing heavily in modern infrastructure and continuous teacher development to ensure we not only meet but exceed the standards of the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB). Our recent achievement of a 100% UCE pass rate and the International Science Olympiad Gold Medal are testaments to the brilliance of our students and the dedication of our faculty.
2. Character Mentorship: We are strengthening our House System and spiritual programs to cultivate leaders defined by Bravery for the Truth and Respect. We are raising individuals prepared to lead with wisdom and moral conviction.
