Administration & Governance
King's College, Budo's strategic direction is ensured by a robust governance structure and a highly dedicated management team. Our leadership is committed to upholding the school's founding values of Church, Kingdom, and State, while driving modern academic and infrastructural growth.
The Board of Governors (BOG)
The BOG provides oversight and strategic planning, ensuring accountability and adherence to our Vision and Mission. It is composed of distinguished members representing the founding bodies (Church of Uganda) and key stakeholders.
The Board is currently Chaired by Mr. Jimmy Rodgers Katende Serunjogi.
The Headmaster's Leadership
The school is led by Canon John Fred Kazibwe, who began his tenure in November 2021. Canon Kazibwe has articulated a clear focus on "Carefully build[ing] on the foundation" (1 Corinthians 3:10), emphasizing discipline, infrastructure development (like the new hostels), and the nurturing of Christian values.
The Management Team
The Headmaster is supported by a strong Management Team, including the Deputy Headmasters for Academics, Administration, and Welfare. This tiered structure ensures every aspect of student life—from the curriculum delivery to spiritual well-being—is managed with expert attention.
