The Uganda National Secondary Schools Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) Festival officially commenced on August 20, 2025, with King's College Budo serving as the proud host institution for this prestigious cultural celebration.

Schools from across Uganda converged on the historic Budo campus to showcase their talents in music, dance, and drama. The festival is a vibrant celebration of Uganda's rich cultural heritage and the artistic talents of our young people.

Festival Highlights

The event featured competitions in traditional dances, contemporary music performances, dramatic presentations, and poetry recitals. Students competed in various categories, each performance reflecting hours of practice and dedication.

King's College Budo's own music and drama clubs also participated with outstanding performances that demonstrated the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded students.

Hosting this national event is a testament to Budo's excellent facilities and our school's standing in Uganda's educational landscape. We thank all participating schools, adjudicators, and everyone who made this festival a resounding success.
