King's College, Budo held its Senior 4 Thanksgiving ceremony on Sunday, September 28, 2025, bringing together S4 candidates, parents, and school leadership. This is our update
Key Messages
Rev. Festo Kalungi (Main Celebrant) encouraged candidates to "seek divine guidance, emphasizing the importance of prayer and reading." He cautioned students against taking shortcuts, noting that examinations test character and integrity alongside academic knowledge.
Canon John Fred Kazibwe (Headmaster) expressed gratitude to God and parents for their continued support. He urged families to participate in the school's transformation initiatives, specifically requesting contributions toward a new chapel project. He encouraged students to use their vacation time acquiring new skills while upholding school values, concluding with a reference to Galatians 6:9.
Jim Rogers Katende Serunjogi (Board of Governors Chair) thanked God for the milestone achievement and encouraged candidates to prepare thoroughly for examinations. He also appealed to parents regarding the chapel construction fund.
