The Biology Department at King’s College, Budo plays an important role in developing students’ understanding of living organisms, their environments and the biological processes that sustain life. The department combines classroom learning with practical experiences to help learners appreciate the diversity of life and the importance of maintaining healthy relationships between people and their environment.

Through lessons, laboratory experiments, field studies and other practical activities, students develop observation, investigation, research, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. The department covers areas such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, human biology, plant and animal biology, reproduction and evolution.
