On 1st to 3rd of April, 2026, the debate club of King's college, Budo participated in the most prestigious tournament - The World Scholars Cup Kampala round that took place at Acorns International School -Lubowa.
The tournament attracted over 28 international schools and 3 traditional school across the country which brought in a number of over 100 teams.
King's college,Budo was well represented by 114 students both junior and senior teams. Three of our Junior teams emerged as Champions in debate, champions in the Writing competition and champions in the scholars Bowl ( Quiz) Three of our Senior teams emerged as debate winners overall, 1st Runners-up in the Writing competition and best debate speaker.
