PATRIOTISM PASSOUT AT KING'S COLLEGE, BUDO

On Saturday May 30th, 2026 King's College, Budo hosted a remarkable pass-out ceremony for staff and students who successfully completed a week-long Patriotism Training and Orientation Programme, marking a significant milestone in nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens.

The Commissioner of the National Secretariat for Patriotism Clubs (NSPC), Hellen Seku, was warmly received by the Headmaster, Godfrey Kasamba, at the school grounds ahead of the highly anticipated event.

The intensive training programme was facilitated by officers from the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Uganda Police Force, with support from several distinguished leaders of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). Throughout the week, participants underwent comprehensive sessions designed to instill patriotism, discipline, leadership skills, and a deep appreciation of national values.

The pass-out ceremony served as a celebration of the participants’ dedication and resilience, underscoring their commitment to contributing positively to Uganda’s development. The event highlighted the vital role of patriotism education in shaping a generation of young leaders equipped to serve their country with integrity, responsibility, and unwavering devotion.
