Budo Hill was alive with anticipation and pride as a new chapter began in the history of King’s College Budo.
On 16th March 2026, Mr. Godfrey Kasamba was officially unveiled as the 15th Headmaster of King’s College Budo, succeeding Canon John Fred Kazibwe, whose tenure has come to a close after over four years of dedicated service.
Canon Kazibwe served as Headteacher from November 2021 to March 2026, a period defined by commitment, steady guidance, and a deep devotion to the school’s values.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Kasamba struck a tone of unity and continuity, calling upon the entire Budo fraternity—students, staff, alumni, and parents—to work together in shaping the school’s future.
“The best reward we can give Canon John Fred Kazibwe is to see his legacy carried forward,” Mr. Kasamba remarked, emphasizing the importance of collective effort and shared vision.
His message resonated strongly with the audience, reflecting a leadership approach grounded in collaboration, respect for tradition, and forward-thinking ambition.
As King’s College, Budo turns the page to this new era, there is a renewed sense of optimism on Budo Hill. With Mr. Kasamba at the helm, the institution looks poised to build upon its rich heritage while striving for even greater excellence in the years ahead.
